MFC Newcastle U12 Girls won the Norcal Premier Cross-Regional Championship with a 6-1 win over El Dorado Eclipse, the #4 team in the state. This was Newcastle's 7th win in 11 tournaments this year. They will next take aim at defending their State Cup crown.

The MFC 03 Barcelona U9 Boys took first place in the Silver Division of the Norcal Fall League. With a +26 goal differential, the boys went undefeated, including two decisive wins over second place Atlas Academy of Merced.

The Manteca FC Red Devils captured the U13 Girls title in the Ajax United Fall Invitational. After defeating Argentina of Fresno and Merced United in group play, the girls topped Modesto AJAX' premier team 3-1 in the semi-final. They then shutout Modesto AJAX' Elite team 1-0 in the final.

The Manteca FC U13 Girls Red Devils took the Division 1 title at the Stanford Summer Classic. Narrowly reaching the semi-finals after 3 tight group matches, the girls reached the Final by shutting out Alpine FC 4-0. Then in a rematch of their 0-0 game in group play, the Red Devils topped the MVLA Typhoons on penalty kicks after a 2-2 tie in regulation and extra time.

Former women's professional, World Cup and Olympic competitor Sissi worked out the MFC U18 Girls teams Saturday, June 25. The Brazilian midfielder was the MVP of the Womens Professional Soccer League in both 2004 and 2008, and is now a FIFA Ambassador and member of the Organizing Committee for the U17 and U20 Women's World Cup.

MFC held their 5th annual Norcal Playdate, hosting more than 140 teams from around the region at Woodward Park. In all, more than 200 matches were played on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Manteca Futbol Club held their second annual Spring Invitational on April 9th and 10th, hosting more than 90 teams from Northern California and Nevada. The weather and fields were perfect for more than 170 matches. The MFC winners included the U11B Boca Jrs (topped EPA Olympique 3-1), the U16B Bocas (over Mt Hamilton 3-1), and U11G Newcastle (edged El Dorado Sol 00 1-0). The U13G Pride took second place in the U14 division, narrowly losing to Elk Grove Everton 4-3 in the final.

The Manteca FC U11 Boys Boca Jrs. captured the 2011 State Cup in the Premier 2 division, defeating the Newark Eagles 4-2. It was the Bocas second State Cup title in 3 years, as they won the Bronze 2 title in the fall of 2008.

The MFC Newcastle U12 Girls topped Mustang Pride 1-0 on a header goal to take the Super division of the elite Placer United Prestige Cup. The journey included wins over Oregon's Lake Oswego, as well as Pleasanton Rage and San Juan - and an 8-1 goal differential for the tournament. Their performance in the event moved the girls to #3 nationally in the GotSoccer rankings.

Playing up in the U13G division, the nationally ranked Manteca FC Newcastle U12 Girls topped the Carson FC Wolfpack 1-0 to win the Fall Friendship tournament in Reno. Sporting pink socks to support Breast Cancer Awareness month, the girls rolled to the title shutting out all 4 opponents by a combined 15-0.

Youth soccer promoter Top Drawer Soccer has recognized the Manteca FC Dynasty and United girls by honoring 3 players from each team in their NorCal/Hawaii Region Team of the Month. Erica DaSilva, Selena DaSilva, Breanne Hatfield, Samantha Morris, Kellie Piazza and Ashley Sohal were all honored for their contributions to their teams' huge tournament success in the month of August.

The Manteca FC U18 Girls Extreme won the 2011 Norcal Spring League in the Silver division. With a record of 7-1-1, they took the 10 team division title by edging the DSR Pibas in Santa Rosa on the final day of the season.

The Manteca FC U11 Girls Newcastle won the 2011 US Club National Cup Western Regional in the Super Group division. Ranked 7th in the nation, Newcastle shutout all 3 opponents, capping their run with a 2-0 blanking of the Santa Rosa Tremors.

The Manteca FC U17 Girls Dynasty won the 2011 State Cup in the Gold division. They defeated Alliance FC 2-0 in the final, capping a shutout streak of all 3 playoff opponents for an 8-0 goal differential.

The Manteca FC U10 Girls United Red won the 2011 Il Torneo dei Presidenti in Redwood City over San Bruno Lowen. The match match was decided on penalty kicks after a thrilling 2-2 draw. United went undefeated in the event, despite playing up in the U11 division.

Manteca FC Newcastle brought home its first State title beating the Santa Rosa Tremors 4-2 in the 2011 U11 Girls State Cup championship. "The girls worked hard all year for this moment" said Coaches Danny Alvarez and Paul Chavez. "The girls deserve everything they have worked for."
